Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. Completes Acquisition of Synlube Business From Hercules, Inc.

INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. (NASDAQ: CLMT) (the "Partnership," the "Company," "Calumet," "we," "our" or "us") said today that its subsidiary, Calumet Missouri, LLC, has completed the previously announced purchase of the aviation and refrigerant lubricants business, a polyol/ester-based synlubes business from Hercules Incorporated, a subsidiary of Ashland, Inc. The purchase price was not disclosed. Under the asset purchase agreement, Calumet Missouri obtained a 22-acre parcel that includes the manufacturing facility in Louisiana, MO., which it plans to continue operating. ("Hercules Acquisition")
